Progress Report: An authoritative mini review (no more than 6,000 words) with a maximum of 4 display items (figures and tables), which will provide a critical view / perspective of the subject in hand of the last 10 years. Authors should clearly demonstrate in their cover letter their relevant expertise in the topic of the manuscript.
Review: An authoritative and educational in nature review (no more than 12,000 words) with a maximum of 8 display items (figures and tables), which will provide a comprehensive literature review of the subject in hand. Authors should clearly demonstrate in their cover letter their relevant expertise in the topic of the manuscript.
Leading Opinion: Invited opinionated papers about established and emerging research topics, as well as relevant ethical, legal and societal issues. Leading Opinion manuscripts have strict limit of 2 authors, 100 words abstract, 1,500 words main text, 1 level headings, 10 references and 1 elegant and descriptive figure.
