SCOPE

Nano Materials Science (NMS) is an international and interdisciplinary, open access, scholarly journal. NMS publishes peer-reviewed original articles and reviews on nanoscale material science and nanometer devices, with topics encompassing preparation and processing; high-throughput characterization; material performance evaluation and application of material characteristics such as the microstructure and properties of one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional nanostructured and nanofunctional materials; design, preparation, and processing techniques; and performance evaluation technology and nanometer device applications. The scope of this journal includes fundamental research on phenomena, mechanisms, and properties of materials at the nanometer scale, with a particular focus on basic nanoscience research and application research for frontier technology, incorporating the latest interdisciplinary research in physics, chemistry, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electricity, and magnetism at the nanometer scale. This journal provides a platform for exchange among teachers, scientists, and engineering and technical staff in the fields of nanoscience and technology.

Informations To Know

Quartile Each subject category of journals is divided into four quartiles: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4.
Q1 is occupied by the top 25% of journals in the list; Q2 is occupied by journals in the 25 to 50% group; Q3 is occupied by journals in the 50 to 75% group and Q4 is occupied by journals in the 75 to 100% group.

H-Index is a metric that is commonly used to evaluate the productivity and impact of individual researchers, rather than journals. However, some researchers have proposed adapting the h-index to measure the impact and prestige of scientific journals.
The h-index for the journal is the highest number of articles that have received at least that number of citations.
For example, if a journal has published 100 articles, and the most highly cited article has been cited 50 times, the h-index for the journal would be 50.

How to contribute ?

  • A journal contribution refers to written content submitted by an external or internal contributor to the journal.
  • This contribution may have corrections to Journal data.
  • Contributions are often published in specific sections of the journal after approval by the admins.
  • A contribution for a newspaper must be informative, well-structured, relevant to the newspaper's audience and respects the format of the information displayed
  • When you submit a contribution to a journal, it will be sent to the admins for verification. Contributions can be submitted by professional journalists, experts in the field, academics or anyone with an interest and expertise in the subject matter.
  • The contribution requires logging in to this website. Then, you can send a contribution request by clicking the 'To Contribute' button after editing the data inline.
